I had my first show of the season/year today and it was a tremendous success!  I tried to take a lot of photos of the process, but once I got the pottery up on the shelves I was inundated for awhile and kind of forgot to take any more…

Here’s the van at 5:50 a.m., ready to hit Dunkin Donuts for a large coffee and continue on to Little Compton, RI!

Once I got there, my morbid self was chuckling happily as I discovered I had space 13, right in front of the entrance to the cemetery:

Since space was at a premium, they asked us to unload quickly and move our cars to a parking area- typical procedure.  So here is everything out of the van!

Tents starting to go up… this was about 7:15 a.m.

And things got blurry for awhile, but I did remember to take one last picture:

I had a Very Special Visitor.  Mike brought Russell to visit me, which was nice.  There was a dog show at the fair too, so he got to meet a few other pooches, and I bought him a handmade harness <3.  Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture!  It was Hot Hot Hot so I had Mike take him home before he had any problems from the heat.  I sure did- I forgot my sunscreen and the sun was beating down on my back for most of the day.  I’m pretty sure I’m a contender for Ms. Redneck USA.

I got to meet one of my hyenacart customers!  I also think I saw Cloris Leachman there :O  LOL.  But I was pretty exhausted at that point so it could have been anybody.  At any rate, I’m about to collapse.  Going to take a nice cool shower and then to bed!
