Happy Easter from RSE!

Last of Round One is cooling in the kiln!  Whew!

Your orders will be cleaned up, wrapped up, boxed, weighed, and then I will invoice for shipping in the next few days.

Also, I have invoiced the participants of the second round of RSE customs today.  I will be starting on your orders the first Monday of May, although I do have a few items from this round thrown already.

Thank you, and have a lovely holiday!

Whew!

What a month!

Between Katie recovering from bone surgery back in March, and me hurting my back earlier this month, then immediately popping a tendon in the bottom of my foot once the back was better, it has been slow going. Add in spring break this week and it just gets more complicated.

But, I just threw the last few items of phase one today!  Tomorrow I will put handles on the mugs and add any preliminary touches to those that need graphics.  I’m planning on getting all of the first phase out the door by the end of the month.

Thanks for your patience!

My Better Earth will be hosting our first annual Charity Auction event. Auctions will go live on Monday, April 11th at 10am (EST) and end on Sunday, April 17th at 10pm (EST). 100% of our proceeds will be donated to Doctors Without Borders. Doctors without Borders is providing aid in over 60 countries across the globe including Japan. After the recent earthquakes and tsunamis in Japan, Doctors Without Borders sent medical teams to support the government-led earthquake and tsunami response. Please help us support this wonderful organization by bidding on all the wonderful items up for auction.

RSE will be teaming up with Bugsnugger Yarn to offer up a collaboration of a sheepy mug and some beautiful sock yarn:

And I will also be auctioning off a new item;  a donburi bowl:

This fundraiser hits a bit close to home as my mother was Japanese and I have many relatives in Japan.  Thank you so very much for your support!

I’m sorry about this, but customs and the remaining coops will be delayed by a week or so.  I’ve been dealing with some pretty serious back pain since March 21st or so… I could barely walk at times!

This weekend, it seems to have resolved to the point where I am going to try to wrestle the clay again today.  I had my husband bring a box of clay into the studio and “slam” it for me.  This involves bending and pulling out a 50 pound box, taking two 25 pound lumps of clay and slamming them on the floor a few times to loosen them up.  I didn’t want to try doing that right now…LOL

This week I will be in high production mode to try to get back on schedule.  I apologize for any inconvenience this delay may have caused, but I’m back at the wheel again so these will get finished soon!
